Last year one of my BFFs sent me a picture of the Butter Chicken and Roomali Roti that she had made. I was shocked that you could make Roomali Roti at home. I was imagining her flipping the rotis like you flip pizza dough and assumed since she has the luxury of someone coming and cleaning her house twice daily (perks of India), she could afford to do it. But when I saw the recipe I was intrigued. I love bread-any and every kind! And so I decided to explore all the different breads that are made across the country.
So aap ki khidmat me, chun chun ke pesh kar rahi hoon, Breads of Hindustan!
Hopefully, I fare better than Thugs of Hindustan :) which was the inspiration behind the title. It combines the two things that I enjoy the most - movies and bread!
Some of these may not seem like traditional breads (baati, kachori) but I couldn't leave them out!
